Kayama Yuzo（加山雄三） is a legendary Japanese actor, singer-songwriter, guitarist, and pianist.
He is affectionately known as "Waka Daisho（若大将）" (It means "Young Captain"), a nickname taken from the title of his hit movie series.
His composer pen name, Dan Kosaku（弾 厚作）, was inspired by his two most respected composers: Dan Ikuma（團 伊玖磨） and Yamada Kosaku（山田 耕筰）.
Kimi no Tame ni （君のために）is a masterpiece that showcases his diverse musicality. The album is filled with highlights, including the orchestral instrumental "Kimi no Subete（君のすべて）," "Sherrie（シェリー）" performed with his fellow The Launchers（ザ・ランチャーズ）, the Doo-wop track "Natsu wa Mijikai（夏はみじかい）," the Mood Kayo "Shinobiai（しのび逢い）," and the Bossa Nova numbers "Lonely Night Coming（ロンリー・ナイト・カミング）" and "Kurai Nami（暗い波）".
